Swift County HRA - EDA Board Purpose
The Swift County Housing and Redevelopment Authority (HRA) and Economic Development Authority (EDA) work together to strengthen communities, support residents, and promote long-term growth across Swift County. The joint board provides oversight, leadership, and strategic direction for both housing and economic initiatives that improve quality of life and create opportunity throughout the county.
Board Mission and Focus Areas:

Advocate for fair and affordable housing for all residents

Support the rehabilitation of existing housing and development of new housing for low- to moderate-income households

Promote community development and neighborhood revitalization

Drive economic growth through business attraction, expansion, and retention

Provide entrepreneurial support and assist with business planning and financing

Strengthen key industries including value-added agriculture and agribusiness
