Swift County Mental Health Council hosts "Slam Dunk the Stigma: Mental Health Supports Expo"

Who: Open to the public
What: Mental Health Supports Expo with a half-the-pot fundraiser and half-time free throw competition
When: February 16, 2026, from 5 p.m. through the half-time of the varsity Benson vs. KMS boys basketball game
Where: Benson High School, 1400 Montana Ave, Benson
Why: To build community awareness of mental health resources in Swift County to reduce the stigma associated with accessing these supports.
This event will bring together community members, families, and local organizations to foster understanding, highlight available resources, and celebrate the importance of mental health in our community.

This event idea was inspired by the successful "Slam Dunk the Stigma" initiative created by the Lac qui Parle County Children's Mental Health Collaborative.

Together we can promote a healthier, more connected, and better-informed community.
