Regroup Emergency Notifications
Swift County has partnered with Regroup to launch a new mass notification system designed to keep the community informed and prepared during critical events. This advanced platform delivers urgent updates through phone calls, text messages, emails and more—ensuring fast, reliable communication when it matters most.
The CodeRed by OnSolve Emergency Notification System previously used by Swift County has been decommissioned following a cyberattack and data breach at the vendor level. OnSolve customers lost access to the platform on November 20, 2025. Agencies that relied on the platform have also had their access to FEMA’s Integrated Public Alert and Warning System (IPAWS) revoked, limiting the ability to quickly send out emergency notifications.
There are still multiple ways Swift County can distribute emergency alerts and public safety information, including the Swift County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page, the Swift County website, the Emergency Alert system through broadcast television and radio, and local media partners. Wireless Emergency Alerts may still be sent at the county’s request through the State Homeland Security and Emergency Management Office; however, this may slow the process.
If you created
a CodeRed account and used the same username and password elsewhere, we
strongly recommend updating those passwords immediately.
If you receive any alerts or messages claiming to be from CodeRed on behalf of
Swift County, do not engage and terminate the communication. Swift
County accessed CodeRed through web-based application, and no other county
infrastructure has been compromised.
